After dozens of fantasy draft LGs... I have found that having a complete complement of 30 LIVE HUMANS at the fanasty draft is beneficial to the LG in 2 ways...

1) The LG is a lot more competeive - even the best programmed AI cannot make up for the intuitive reasoning skllls of a LIVE PERSON drafing... And even when you place your players in draft Que - This does not totally account for "on the fly" decisions that must be made if their is a "run" an a posiotion or a player who "slips through the cracks"... no douubt having 30 LIVE HUMAN players at the fantasy draft will make all these teams the best they can be and the teams infinitely more competitive...

2) When you take the time to draft you team - you are more committed to that team... You made the decision to select every1 of those players - and you will want to see your strategy work... If you let the CPU draft your team or even use the draft que - you dont have the same level of ownership to your squad... There is no doubt that a team you take time to personally draft means more to you than just a random team....

Understanding these 2 dynamics is the reason i will be making attending the draft a REQUIREMENT and membership to the LG will be given to those players who can guarantee they willbe at the fantasy draft... The fantasy draft will be posted ASAP (after the test LGs have confirmed that gameplay within LGs is reliable)... Of course when you get 30 people together or any event - their are going to be last minute things that come up which cause "draft day - no shows" - If you are a draft day no show - you will be removed from the LG and replaced by 1 of our stand by players... We generally average 2-3 players that need to be replaced and i have seen as few as 1 replacement player needed and as many as 5 (in our Madden Group LGs - so if you are a `stand by player` - depending on your priority level, Its a certainty thatyou will get in the LG - u just wont know the team u will get to the last minute!!!! lol
